Neglect

I have to admit...I have neglected my side garden in the back of the house this summer. This walkway looks like a path at an abandoned home. Shame on me, my poor little garden.
This used to be a brick walkway...without grass...

...and after two hours of weed pulling and pruning, my side garden is back to her former glory...

...and a walkway without grass.

Now if I could just save this poor little rhododendron. I have had it in three different spots now. Believe it or not it actually had flowers on it this year, and it looked almost as bad as it does not.
