I made a bow!

This may seem silly, but I was so excited. I made a bow! And the best part of it...it was free! I used an old map I had gotten for free.
So here it is...my very first (hopefully many more to come) bow.

And here is how cute it looked on the package...
of course it was for a 7 year old boy so the cuteness was completely wasted, but I had fun making it!

good job. I have used comic strips to wrap kids presents but a bow would be cool. I am going to try a bow with a sunday paper comic. I hope it looks as good as the map. thanks.

That's a great idea with the map!

Wow, Bev, good for you! I would love to know how to do that and out of a map, that is so unique. Hugs, Cindy S.

Oh Bev that is the cutest bow I have ever seen... I couldn't make a bow to save my life... I once worked at a Flower Shop for 4 days many years ago and they told me to make 50 bows in a ONE DAY it would take me a lifetime to make 2... needless to say I quit... that was the shortest career in history... LOL...

thanks for stopping by earlier... It is always so nice to see you... check out the other recipe boxes (look on the right of my blog) for some other great ideas to do with them... Have a great day Bev...
Hugs... Deb

Great bow Bev. I really like that you used a map. Great colors. I hope your son liked what was inside.
